Frequently Asked Questions
Women's health data is a special category under the GDPR, and Article 32 requires security measures that take the state of the art and the risk into account. Hanah Layer provides that infrastructure once, so a product can collaborate with hospitals, researchers and other platforms without building a new compliant pathway for every partner.
Hanah never owns the data. We are the infrastructure layer that makes secure, consent-driven sharing possible between the parties that do.
Privacy by design: explicit and revocable consent, pseudonymisation and small-group suppression so directly identifying data stays out of what is shared, governance rules applied to every request, and an audit trail behind every exchange. Data is never resold.
Their data stops being shared. Consent is checked per data point and per study, and it is enforced on every request rather than at sign-up only.
We map product data to clinical standards — FHIR, LOINC and SNOMED CT — including female-specific data points those standards do not yet cover, and make it FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable), so partners and researchers receive consistent, well-described datasets they can actually use.
